Entering the logistics field when there are so many big, established players might seem like an insurmountable challenge, and that’s why networking events play such a vital role. Ernst & Young hosted just such an event on September 24, 2019.
The 3rd Mobility & Startup Conference was held at EY’s architecturally stunning Kirchberg location, and its goal was to give startups the valuable opportunity to network with key players from the logistics industry. Akin to speed dating, each entrepreneur was given five minutes to make a pitch. At the end of the event, all presenters enjoyed a matchmaking drink to network more casually with industry insiders. Among the fascinating startups, some of which might themselves be key players one day, were Logit One, which has created a platform for collaborative workflow management for logistics, and Recoupex, which combines cutting-edge technology, legal aid, and transport industry knowledge to facilitate getting compensation from liable parties when cargo is lost or damaged in transit.
