The Luxembourg 5G Conference, which was opened by none other than Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, was held at the European Convention Center Luxembourg on December 11-12, 2019.
This event was designed not only for representatives of telecom and IT companies, experts, and governmental agencies, but also for citizens and NGOs who are concerned about possible health and environmental problems caused by 5G technology and wanted to voice their opinions and interact more directly with 5G industry insiders and experts. The main part of the programme was a series of interactive workshops, the topics of which were proposed by participants themselves. The conference also presented the hundreds of technical experts who attended with the chance to discuss security and challenges related to this paradigm-shifting technology which looks to soon be implemented across Europe.
