How can we build a world in which digital technology is readily available to all, enabling everyone to have access to information, networks, and digital opportunities, while at the same time ensuring that innovation doesn’t harm the environment?
This will be the main theme of Arch Summit 2020, taking place at Luxexpo the Box from October 28-29, 2020. Arch Summit is an annual gathering that connects tech start-ups and scale-ups with industry leaders, investors, and policy-makers. This year’s programme includes tailored meetings, start-up pitches, master classes, industry roundtables, and two floors of exhibitions. The event is organised by Tomorrow Street, a joint venture between Vodafone Group and Technoport, and it is expected to attract 5,000 attendees and 900 exhibitors from more than 70 countries. Among this year’s fascinating speakers are Christiana Figueres, a former UN official who played a key role in the 2015 Paris Agreement on climate change, Vodafone Group CEO Nick Read, and Gerd Leonhard, the German futurist and author who has written about digital rights and the need for humanism and balance in technology.
