At the sixth edition of the Luxembourg Healthcare Summit, which was held on October 9, 2019 at the Vauban Event Center, professionals from the sector gathered to share information about best practices and honour those who have made important contributions.
The main topic of the summit was ‘Patients as Partners: Where Do We Stand?’ and attendees were given the valuable opportunity to reflect on the needs and expectations of patients as well as those of healthcare providers. The event included a presentation of new tools, treatments, and therapies that are transforming healthcare in Luxembourg. At the end of the event was an awards ceremony and a walking dinner that allowed participants to mingle and network. Among the speakers were Marc Sniukas, Director of Strategy and Innovation at Deloitte; Véronique Gillon, Operational Director of Research at the Institut Curie; and Sandrine Stauner-Facques, journalist and communications officer at Luxembourg-based Semper and Letz Be Healthy.
