Subtile, Art and Design Gallery, presents art and objects in a space designed like a home - warm, full of energy and life.
You benefit from an exceptional location in the center of Luxembourg.
You will enjoy a venue featuring an impressive 8-meter high room that captivates with its magical light, which you will discover after passing through a beautiful pathway lined with greenery and a patio that can accommodate your guests. If you want to dazzle your hosts in a space where every object catches the eye, if you’re looking for creative activities centered around various forms of art, or if you wish to envision an original and imaginative dinner for approximately 30 guests (max 70 standing), Subtile will elevate your experience.
This unique space has welcomed the greatest international artists such as Louise Bourgeois, Jan Faber, Hermann Nitsch, Tamy Ben-Tor AMY or yet Marina Abramovic. The building, built in 2003, is a hidden gem which has been nominated in the European Union prize for Contemporary Architecture.
Since October 2020, Catherine Lebrun has opened this Art and Design Concept - Subtile -, with the idea of enhancing the combination of art and unique interior design pieces to create a vibrant alternative to traditional galleries often perceived as intimidating.
Subtile provides a platform for a new generation of deserving artists and craftspeople in Luxembourg. Building a community that shares a passion for sustainability and creativity, the gallery is open to innovation in both physical and digital art. While recognising the quality of traditional objects, Subtile values the positive impact of new artistic perspectives in an ever-changing environment to welcome you as you wish.
