The Luxembourg National Convention Bureau (LCB) is an independent entity dedicated to raising Luxembourg’s profile as a leading destination for Business Events. The LCB focuses on the acquisition and facilitation of international conferences and Business Events in the Grand Duchy, representing the national Business Events industry and acting as a one-stop shop for conference organizers. The objective of the LCB is to strengthen Luxembourg’s local economy by increasing knowledge exchange, trade, and investment.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Partner & Community Manager to strengthen relationships with our partner network and foster a vibrant community around Luxembourg as a Business Events destination. The ideal candidate will manage and contribute to the content and development of our online and offline presence to maximize their reach and engage with a diverse audience.
Reports to: CEO of the Luxembourg Convention Bureau G.I.E.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Partner management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Luxembourg Convention Bureau's industry partner network (venues, service providers, hotels, event organizers, local stakeholders etc.).
- Build and nurture strategic relationships with these partners to create a collaborative and strong network that enhances Luxembourg's position as a premier Business Events destination.
- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive partner program to strengthen Luxembourg's Business Events ecosystem.
- Design and execute partnership frameworks that deliver mutual value and support the sustainable growth of the local Business Events industry.
- Plan and organize networking events, training sessions, and informational meetings for the partner network to strengthen ties and engagement.
- Maintain an updated database of partner records and develop strategies to encourage stakeholder participation in initiatives.
- Responsible for managing the industry partners' presentation on LCB’s webpage and engaging them in effectively utilizing LCB’s extranet.
- Plan and organize meetings of the Advisory board and ensure its administrative management and proper conduct.
- Organize site inspections with our local partners.
- Provide support for convention bureau activities, and other Business Events related activities, as directed by the CEO.
- Assume any other task as directed by the CEO.
Community management
Social Media and content creation
- Build, grow, and manage LCB’s online community.
- Develop community initiatives, managing social media platforms and facilitating meaningful interactions between the brand and its audience.
- Set, plan and implement social media and communication campaigns and strategies.
- Provide engaging text, image and video content for all social media and professional accounts highlighting the LCB’s activities, news, events and partners' offerings to maintain a strong online presence.
- Monitor social media platforms and respond promptly and professionally to messages and comments.
- Analyze content performance metrics such as views, engagement, and conversion rates to inform future content strategies.
- Monitor, track and report on feedback and online reviews.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing & Communication Manager to align content with overall communication strategies and goals.
- Stay up-to-date with digital Marketing/industry trends and technologies to continuously improve content creation skills.
- Provide assistance and input to the Sales and Marketing plan.
Skills and Competency Requirements:
- Education: University degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or equivalent areas of study.
- Experience: At least five (5) years of experience in Communications, Community Management, Project Management, Social Media engagement, Digital Communication or comparable fields.
- Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French. Knowledge of Luxembourgish, and/or German is an asset.
- Technical Skills: Excellent Knowledge of most common social media tools and analytics reporting. Computer literacy in all Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Creative Skills: Proven experience in graphic design and content creation.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Sector Interest: Knowledge of the destination ‘Luxembourg’ and its economic sectors, products, services, and assets.
- Teamwork and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others to accomplish joint tasks and common objectives, contributing to a positive work environment and fostering collaboration. The ideal candidate should also be highly sociable, with strong interpersonal skills to engage and maintain excellent relationships with our partners and stakeholders.
